SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – East Stroudsburg University won seven of the final eight bouts to post a 30-12 win over American International on Friday night at Bulova Gymnasium.

Redshirt sophomore Adam Hluschak (141) and redshirt senior Shane Mallory (184) earned bonus point wins for the Warriors, who also picked up two wins by forfeit and won their other three matches by decision.

American International won the first two bouts of the night, with an 8-3 decision by Este Lara at 125 and a pin by Brian Clay at 133 with 27 seconds remaining against ESU redshirt sophomore Andrew Arnold.

Hluschak put the Warriors on the board with a 19-1 technical fall at 141, earning his third tech fall and ninth win by bonus points on the season to improve to 15-8.

Sophomore Eddie Stephenson (149) won by forfeit and ESU took the next two matches by decision. Redshirt sophomore Thad Frick (157) earned a 6-5 overtime victory against Ron Tetreault to go to 17-8 on the year, and redshirt junior Jeff Jacobs (165) kept Martin Thompson off the board with a 6-0 decision to move to 16-10. AIC notched a win by decision by Jason Pagan at 174 by an 8-4 score over ESU freshman Devon Passman.

Mallory had a 21-9 major decision, junior Ed Ebewo (197) had a forfeit victory and freshman Will Weaver recorded a 7-2 decision at 285 pounds in the final match of the night. Mallory is 15-6 to date during his senior season.

The Warriors are at Boston University on Saturday for duals against the host Terriers and North Dakota State.
