EAST STROUDSBURG – West Chester posted a three-set victory over East Stroudsburg University in the Warriors' only match on the first day of the ESU State Farm Classic on Friday at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Sophomore outside hitter Kaitlin Behrens had a career-high 10 kills and hit .400, three matches after putting together her previous best of eight kills with a .462 hitting percentage in ESU's 3-2 win at Shippensburg last Saturday.

Freshman setter Allye Preziosi also established a career-high with 21 digs, her fifth match of the season in double figures, and had 30 assists to direct ESU's attack.

The Warriors extended the third set to 29-27 after falling 25-19 and 25-15 in the first two sets. West Chester (12-3, 3-3) won their fifth straight match and third straight in the PSAC going into Saturday's match at Eastern division leader Lock Haven.

Senior middle blocker Brianne Bachman had eight kills and freshman middle blocker Ashley Lesniak put away seven kills for the Warriors (5-14, 1-7). Senior libero Lindsey Lullo had 21 digs and senior outside hitter Emily Detter added 10 digs and four kills.

ESU takes on Queens (N.Y.) in its first match on Saturday at 10 a.m. and wraps up the State Farm Classic at 3 p.m. against C.W. Post.
