The Warriors won the third and fourth sets, 25-21 and 25-10, after the Setters (13-6) took the opening two sets, 25-22 and 26-24. In the fifth, ESU (7-18) built a 14-9 lead before Pace's Whitney Hilton served out the final seven points to stave off elimination and give the Setters a 16-14 win.
