PHILADELPHIA – East Stroudsburg University rallied from a 2-0 deficit to force a fifth set, but Holy Family pulled out a 15-13 win in the deciding game for a 3-2 win over the Warriors in non-conference women's volleyball on Wednesday night.
Senior libero
Lindsey Lullo, an All-Region selection last season, had 27 digs to move into second in school history with 1,523 career digs. Dawn Peipher (2,573), Lullo and Andrea Myers (1,515) are the only three players to go over 1,500 career digs at ESU.
Senior outside hitter
Alyson Stark had 17 kills for the second time in three matches and hit .410, her top hitting percentage of the season. Stark has 978 career kills, on the brink of becoming the fifth Warrior with 1,000 in her career.
Holy Family (14-9) won the first two sets, 25-20 and 15-13, before ESU (8-20) responded to win the third and fourth sets, 25-22 and 25-16. The Warriors are 2-2 in five-set matches this season, beating Shippensburg and Mercyhurst and falling to Pace and Holy Family.
Freshman setter
Allye Preziosi tied her career-high with 42 assists, matching the mark she set against Pace last Tuesday. She also had 10 digs for her eighth double-double of the year.
Sophomore outside hitter
Kaitlin Behrens notched nine kills, one off her season best, and freshman middle blocker
Ashley Lesniak posted seven kills and five blocks (one solo, four block assists).
The Warriors had 10 blocks overall to hit double figures for the fifth time this season. Stark had five block assists and senior

Heather Norris added 16 digs to help the defense.
ESU is back in action with three matches this weekend at Koehler Fieldhouse, including two against PSAC East competition. The Warriors host Shippensburg on Friday at 7 p.m. and take on Millersville (1 p.m.) and Stonehill (5 p.m.) on Saturday. Millersville plays Stonehill in the middle match at 3 p.m.
