SHIPPENSBURG - Seniors Katie D'Ambrosia and Jamie Ferrigno won their 50th career match as a doubles team at East Stroudsburg University as the Warriors competed at the 2010 PSAC Individual Championships on Saturday at Shippensburg.

D'Ambrosia and Ferrigno defeated Jess Lodek and Hannah Lolley of Shippensburg, 8-1, in the first round before falling 8-5 to the No. 2 seed from Mercyhurst, Kim Ezzo and Caroline Bristol.

The seniors are three-time selections to the All-PSAC East team and are 50-23 as a tandem in their careers at ESU, including a 4-2 record this season.

Junior Amanda Kaufman won her first singles match over Lodek (6-0, 6-0), then dropped a 6-2, 7-6 decision to No. 5 Anastassiya Zherdeva of California. D'Ambrosia was on the difficult end of a 6-4, 6-4 score to Emily Palko of Bloomsburg as the Warriors' other singles participant.

In the men's doubles bracket, seniors Will Norris and Zach Ontell posted a 9-8 (7-3) win over Arjit Goswami and Tim Roenning of Kutztown in the opening round. The Warriors fell to Ricky Dove and Mark Schroeder of Bloomsburg, 8-2, in the quarterfinals.

Senior Jared Rosenberg took a tough 6-4, 6-7 (8-10) loss to Kutztown's Cameron O'Donnell in men's singles. Norris fell 6-0, 6-3 to the top seed, Keith Whittingham of Mercyhurst.
