WILLIAMSPORT – East Stroudsburg University's top seven wrestlers all posted victories to come away from Lycoming College's Lamade Gymnasium with a 25-10 win on Monday night.

ESU had three bonus point wins – a 12-4 major decision from redshirt sophomore Andrew Arnold at 133, a 23-8 technical fall from redshirt sophomore Thad Frick at 157 and a four-point, 26-11 technical fall from redshirt senior Shane Mallory at 184.

The Warriors' four wins by decision came from redshirt sophomore Adam Hluschak (141, 10-4), redshirt junior Jeff Jacobs (165, 2-1), junior Ed Ebewo (197, 8-7) and freshman Will Weaver (285, 5-2).

Frick earned his 20th win of the season, improving to 20-9 with his third technical fall of the season, and is 32-18 in his first 50 matches at ESU. Jacobs and Mallory both won for the 19th time, while Hluschak (16-11), Ebewo (15-11), Arnold (13-14) and Weaver (11-14) saw their records improve as well.

Arnold jumped out to an 11-3 advantage through the first period on the way to his 10th bonus point win of the season, accounting for all of his victories on the mat this season. His other three wins have come by medical forfeit (twice) and a traditional forfeit.

Hluschak, Arnold's high school teammate, picked up back points at the start of the second period and took a 6-3 lead into the third period of his 10-6 decision at 141.

Frick used three takedowns and three near-fall points in both the second and third periods to pull away from a 3-3 deadlock through one period to earn his technical fall with the riding time point.

At 165, Jacobs yielded an escape in the final minute of the second period but scored a takedown and held off Christopher Dahlheimer for a 2-1 decision. Jacobs is 4-1 in the Warriors' last five duals, including a pair of 6-0 victories, a first-period pin and Monday's 2-1 score.

Mallory recorded 12 takedowns for his technical fall, which did not include any near-fall points. Ebewo posted three takedowns in the first period and emerged with an 8-7 decision at 184, and Weaver had the only two takedowns in the heavyweight bout to finish the night.
