DOYLESTOWN – Delaware Valley College, ranked No. 5 in Division III, won three of the final four matches to beat East Stroudsburg University 21-15 in collegiate wrestling on Thursday night.

Redshirt sophomore Thad Frick (157) and redshirt junior Jeff Jacobs (165) won by decision and redshirt senior Shane Mallory (184) had a technical fall to give the Warriors (8-7) a 11-10 lead through six bouts.

Delaware Valley (10-2) won the next three bouts, including a major decision by No. 2-ranked Kyle Bilquist at heavyweight, before redshirt sophomore Andrew Arnold closed the dual with a major decision.

Frick earned a 5-3 decision over Jesse Harrington, the top-ranked 157-pounder in Division III, to improve to 21-9 on the season while Harrington fell to 18-4. Frick is 15-3 for the Warriors since December 28, including an 8-1 record in dual action.

Jacobs and Mallory both won their 20th matches of the year for ESU. Jacobs went to 20-11 with an 8-1 decision vs. Justin Barowski, and Mallory recorded his second straight technical fall and third of the season by a 23-7 score to go to 20-6.

No. 10 Martin Porter had a 6-0 decision over junior Ed Ebewo at 197 to give Delaware Valley a 13-11 edge and Bilquist followed with his 120th career victory by a 13-3 major decision over freshman Will Weaver. The Aggies clinched the match with a major decision from Terrance Clendenin at 125.

ESU is back on the mat this weekend at the Ashland Duals in Ashland, Ohio.
