EAST STROUDSBURG – Junior
Jamie Wesztergom tied her career-high with four goals, including three straight to start an 8-0 run at the beginning of the second half, as East Stroudsburg University improved to 3-1 with a 17-6 win over Philadelphia University in non-conference lacrosse on Saturday afternoon at Whitenight Field.

Kelsey Pfautz had her first career hat trick, scoring two goals in the first half as ESU opened a 6-3 lead, and juniors
Michelle Mangiaruga and
Molly O'Hara scored two goals each.

Amanda Simms made eight saves in the first half and freshman
Katie Zollo had four saves in the second half for ESU. Simms held Philadelphia U off the scoreboard with six saves in the first 24:30 of the game while the Warriors went ahead 5-0.
Caribeth Shappell scored three goals for Philadelphia U (1-3), which has won two straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference championships. The Rams' first two losses came by a total of three goals.
Wesztergom scored three straight unassisted goals in the first 5:30 of the second half and has eight goals this season, including two hat tricks. Junior
Morgan Knowles scored her first goal of the year to put ESU ahead 10-3 with 20 minutes left, and O'Hara, Mangiaruga and sophomores
Maure Perrymond and
Laura Riegel all found the net in the next 10 minutes for a 14-3 advantage.

Taylor Lucas with 7:30 remaining and seniors
Jocelyn Gebhardt and
Sara Foley wrapped up the scoring for the Warriors.
O'Hara leads ESU with 10 goals this season and Mangiaruga and Wesztergom have eight goals each. Bradley had a goal and two assists on the day and has four goals and six assists on the season.
ESU is scheduled to travel to Kutztown for a PSAC East match-up on Monday at 4 p.m.
