KUTZTOWN – Junior Molly O'Hara scored a career-high six goals and went over the 100-goal milestone for her career as East Stroudsburg University earned a 16-12 win at Kutztown in PSAC East lacrosse on Monday afternoon.

O'Hara scored four goals in the first half as the Warriors (8-4, 4-3) opened a 9-6 lead, netted her fifth goal to finish a 3-0 run after Kutztown closed the margin to one, then completed her six-goal game with the final tally of the afternoon.

O'Hara has 101 career goals, the 13th player to score 100 goals in school history, and has 35 goals this season. She scored 31 as a freshman and 35 as a sophomore and has recorded 21 career hat tricks, including five in the last seven games.

Junior Michelle Mangiaruga added three goals and an assist and junior Christine Bradley and senior Lindsey Moyer both scored a pair of goals as ESU broke a two-game losing streak going into Thursday's home game against Millersville at 4 p.m.

Rachel Mehaffey had five goals and two assists for Kutztown (2-10, 0-7), which pulled within 11-10 on her fourth goal of the game with 16:11 left.

Sophomore Laura Riegel gave ESU a two-goal cushion at the 13:47 mark, Mangiaruga scored her third goal 21 seconds later and O'Hara found the net just under a minute after that to give the Warriors a 14-10 advantage.

Kutztown converted on a pair of free position shots to make it 14-12 before Moyer scored with 1:30 remaining. O'Hara's final goal with 1:02 left set the final margin.

ESU held a 41-34 advantage in shots and sophomore Amanda Simms made a career-high 13 saves for the Warriors while playing all 60 minutes. Karly Waltman made 14 saves for Kutztown.

The Warriors will honor their three seniors, Moyer, Sara Foley and Jocelyn Gebhardt, before Thursday's game against Millersville at Whitenight Field. A victory would give ESU its second winning season in the last three years and put the Warriors in position to contend for a PSAC playoff spot in the final week of the season.
