KUTZTOWN – Freshman Karen Cash tied for fifth with a round of 82 to lead East Stroudsburg University's entrants at the Kutztown Invitational at Berkleigh Country Club on Friday.

Kutztown won the 18-hole tournament by three shots over Gannon (330-333), followed by West Chester, Mercyhurst, Franklin & Marshall and ESU.

Mercyhurst's Evann Parker was the medalist with a score of 77 to win by one shot over Samantha's Samantha Rumbley.

Freshman Alicia Jones turned in a round of 93 for ESU to tie for 21st in a field of 34 golfers. Freshman Regan Zimmerman carded a 102 and junior Kaley Rode shot a 122.

The Warriors host the ESU Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at Water Gap Country Club, their final event of the year before the PSAC Championships on April 24-25 in Hershey.
