EAST STROUDSBURG – Will and James Norris won at first doubles and the top two singles spots as East Stroudsburg University completed its 2009-10 men's tennis season with a 9-0 win over Caldwell on Monday afternoon at Wolbers Courts.

Junior Will Norris defeated Anish Kansakar, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 1 singles and finishes the year with a 7-15 overall record and a 6-13 ledger in dual matches. ESU was also 6-13 in duals on the season.

Graduate student James Norris finished his only year at ESU at 8-10, starting the season at No.4 before moving to No. 2 during the spring. The doubles pairing was 11-11 on the year and had wins at the ITA Atlantic Regional and PSAC individual championships.

Junior Jared Rosenberg, sophomore Mark Covert, junior Zach Ontell and sophomore Andrew Makos posted wins at third through sixth singles. Ontell and Covert played second doubles and Makos and sophomore Dalton Barton were in the third doubles spot.

James Norris, Rosenberg and Ontell all won eight matches this season, while Heller and Rosenberg played No. 2 doubles for the first 18 duals and had a 7-11 record. Norris and Norris were 9-10 at the top of the doubles lineup.
