EAST STROUDSBURG – Juniors Michelle Mangiaruga, Molly O'Hara and Jamie Wesztergom combined for 10 goals and five assists as East Stroudsburg University won its 10th game of the season with a 16-8 victory over Georgian Court on Monday afternoon at Whitenight Field.

O'Hara (five goals, one assist) and Wesztergom (three goals, one assist) both had hat tricks and Mangiaruga added two goals and a career-high three assists for the Warriors (10-5), who secured the third 10th win season in school history and moved within one victory of the school record.

Georgian Court (13-2) had its 10-game winning streak snapped by an ESU attack that won 17 of the game's 26 draw controls, forced 31 turnovers and maintained possession for most of the afternoon.

The Lions went ahead 2-0 in the first 6:30, then were held scoreless for the next 19:19 as ESU scored five goals to take the lead for good.

Six players scored one goal each in the first half – Mangiaruga, O'Hara, Wesztergom, junior Christine Bradley, sophomore Laura Riegel and freshman Ali Green – to take a 6-3 lead into the break and the Warriors scored five goals in the first 12 minutes of the second half to extend the advantage.

Daryl Carr led Georgian Court with two goals and three assists and Christine Latteri made 17 saves in goal. ESU held a 39-16 advantage in shots on the afternoon.

O'Hara had her ninth hat trick of the season and is averaging more than three goals per game, with 46 in the first 15 contests. She has 17 goals in the last four games and is one goal behind Mangiaruga's total of 47 from last season while closing in on the sixth 50-goal season in ESU's record book.

Wesztergom's hat trick was her third of the year and first since netting four goals on March 20 in a 17-6 win over Philadelphia University, which beat Georgian Court for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference championship last year.

ESU hosts West Chester (14-0, 8-0) on Wednesday at 4 p.m. before finishing the regular season at Shippensburg on Saturday with the final two PSAC East playoff spots still in the balance.

The Warriors, Bloomsburg and Shippensburg are all tied for second with 5-3 conference records. Bloomsburg hosts Shippensburg Wednesday in a rematch of Ship's 13-11 win earlier in the season, while ESU beat the Raiders 17-12 on April 3 at Whitenight Field. Bloomsburg beat ESU 13-5 in both meetings this season.
