HERSHEY – East Stroudsburg University freshman 
Karen Cash shot an opening round 73 to lead the PSAC Women's Golf Championships going into Sunday's final round at Hershey Links Golf Club in central Pennsylvania.
Cash shot an even-par 36 on the back nine to finish at +1 on the day and take a two stroke lead over three golfers from California (Pa.). The par 72 course is playing at 5,777 yards for the weekend.
Jenna Rotharmel, last year's runner-up, Maria Lopez and Lorenna Aranda all carded rounds of 75 for the Vulcans, with Evann Parker of Mercyhurst another shot back at 76 to round out the top five.
California, the defending champion, leads the seven-team field by 23 shots entering Sunday's second and final round. Kutztown and Clarion are tied at 326, followed by West Chester (330), Gannon (336), Mercyhurst (347) and ESU (375).
Junior 
Becky Benner and freshman 
Regan Zimmerman both shot 45's on the back nine for the Warriors. Benner is tied for 29th at 95, while Zimmerman shot a 102, freshman 
Alycia Jones finished at 105 and junior 
Kaley Rode posted a 113.
Sunday's final round will begin at 10 a.m., with the final group going out at 11:30.
