HERSHEY – Freshman Karen Cash finished in a tie for third to earn All-PSAC honors at the PSAC Women's Golf Championships on Sunday at Hershey Links Golf Club.

Cash shot a 73 on Saturday to take a two shot lead into the final round over three golfers, including Jenna Rothermel of California, last year's runner-up.

Rothermel fired a four-under par 68 during Sunday's round to finish with a one-under par 143 for the two day championship and post a six-stroke margin of victory over teammate Maria Lopez. California had five of the top eight finishers and dominated the championship, winning by 48 strokes over second-place Kutztown (643).

Cash shot a 78 on Sunday to tie for third with California's Dianne Luke at 151 (+7). Luke carded a 73 in the second round after an opening round of 78.

Cash finishes her freshman year with three medalist honors in seven events, winning titles at the Clarion Invitational and Lancaster Intercollegiate Classic in the fall and the ESU Invitational last weekend.

West Chester (665) was third in the team standings, followed by Gannon (666), Clarion (671), Mercyhurst (691) and ESU (746). The top 10 individual finishers, plus ties, comprise the All-PSAC team.
