EDINBORO – Junior midfielder
Devon Miniscalco gave East Stroudsburg University a 1-0 lead four minutes into the second half, but Edinboro rallied for a 2-1 victory in PSAC women's soccer on Saturday afternoon.
Rachel Dahlstrand tied the game at 1-1 in the 67th minute and Jenna Madison netted the game-winner seven minutes later for the Fighting Scots, who improve to 3-1 (1-1 PSAC).
Miniscalco's goal, her second of the season, was assisted by freshman forward
Kerri McClay, who made her first career start. Freshman
Michelle Gogolen also made her debut for the Warriors in the starting lineup at center back.
Junior goalkeeper
Melissa Myers made six saves for ESU (1-2-1, 0-2), which lost its PSAC opener 4-1 at Clarion on Friday. Edinboro held a 17-10 advantage in shots in the contest.
ESU is away from action until next weekend, hosting Lock Haven on Friday and Slippery Rock on Saturday in PSAC action. Both games begin at 1 p.m. at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
