EAST STROUDSBURG – Danielle Turner gave Slippery Rock a 1-0 lead with just under three minutes left in the first half, and the visitors went on to post a 2-0 victory over East Stroudsburg University in PSAC women's soccer action at Eiler-Martin Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Kara Mullins added the game's second goal in the 79th minute on assists from Alison Hindley and Juliana Howell. Hindley also assisted on Turner's goal before halftime.

Melissa Myers for ESU and Alli Bird for Slippery Rock (4-2, 2-2). ESU had an 11-2 advantage in corner kicks, but Slippery Rock managed an 18-14 margin in shots.
ESU (2-3-1, 1-3 PSAC) beat Lock Haven, 3-1, for its first PSAC win on Friday and will face two conference opponents next week with a trip to West Chester on Wednesday and a home game vs. Millersville on Saturday. The Warriors will wrap up a tripleheader at Eiler-Martin Stadium next Saturday, with the football team hosting West Chester at 1 p.m. followed by a soccer doubleheader vs. Millersville.
