EAST STROUDSBURG – Sophomore Breanne Ingargiola scored her second goal of the season and freshman Kerri McClay found the net for the first time in her career to lead East Stroudsburg University to a 2-1 win over Millersville in PSAC women's soccer on Saturday night at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

The Warriors (3-4-1, 2-4) blanked the Marauders (0-6-1, 0-4-1) until the closing seconds of the game, as Niki Roberts scored with two seconds left on the clock to finish the evening and the final game of a Saturday tripleheader on Eiler-Martin Stadium's FieldTurf.

Ingargiola scored a beautiful goal midway through the first half, beating Millersville goalkeeper Kelsey Benson to the near post from beyond the 18-yard box. Junior Sarah Rothrock had her first assist of the season.

McClay cleaned up a rebound for her first career goal in the 69th minute to give the Warriors a 2-0 lead. Junior Megan Keiser's shot was saved by Benson and deflected off the crossbar, falling at the feet of McClay inside the six-yard box for her first goal after a couple of near-misses early in the game.

Junior goalkeeper Melissa Myers made two saves for ESU, while Benson had 10 saves for the Marauders. ESU posted a 19-9 advantage in shots and controlled the action most of the night.

The Warriors are back in action on Wednesday with a trip to Erie for a PSAC match-up against Mercyhurst.
