DENTON, Texas – The East Stroudsburg University women's volleyball team fell to Arkansas Tech and Henderson State to wrap up its appearance at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Classic on Saturday at Texas Woman's University.
Senior outside hitter
Alyson Stark had 10 kills on the day, seven vs. Henderson State, to move into the top 10 in ESU career history with 733 kills. She passes Sandy Hines, who had 729 kills from 1995-98.
Stark also had 12 digs vs. Henderson State and senior libero
Lindsey Lullo added 18 digs to give her 63 on the weekend (5.25 per game). Sophomore middle blocker
Jennifer Forbes had six kills and freshman setter
Allye Preziosi handed out 19 assists.
The Warriors were limited to 14 kills in their first match of the day against Arkansas Tech. Stark led the Warriors with 10 digs and Lullo added eight digs.
ESU (0-4) will look for its first win of the season next weekend with four matches in a tournament at American International College in Springfield, Mass.
