KUTZTOWN – Maria Borland scored in the 17th minute and Carolynne Kahl scored in the 87th to give No. 16 Kutztown a 2-0 win over East Stroudsburg University in PSAC women's soccer on Tuesday afternoon.

Nicki Keiser made eight saves for ESU (4-8-1, 1-8-1) in her sixth start of the season. Casey Behrendt made three saves to post the shutout for Kutztown (10-3, 8-2), which has won six of its last seven games with the only loss coming to undefeated and No. 3-ranked California.
Kutztown held an 18-5 advantage in shots on the afternoon and ESU was credited with 10 saves, eight by Keiser and two by Warrior defenders. The Golden Bears have won five straight in the series, which ESU leads 14-13-1, with three of the previous four games ending 1-0.
ESU, which is 1-8-1 after a 3-0 start to the season, begins a four-game homestand on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. vs. Mansfield. The game will be the nightcap of a tripleheader at Eiler-Martin Stadium following football vs. C.W. Post at 1 p.m. and men's soccer vs. UDC at 5:30 p.m.
