LOCK HAVEN – East Stroudsburg University pushed defending PSAC East regular season champion Lock Haven to 25-23 in the second and third sets, but the end result was a 3-0 loss to the Bald Eagles on Tuesday night at Thomas Fieldhouse.

Kaitlin Behrens had seven kills and sophomore middle blocker
Ashley Lesniak added five kills and three blocks for the Warriors, who fell 25-12 in the first set before playing point-for-point with Lock Haven in the final two sets.
ESU falls to 4-19 overall, 2-13 in the PSAC, but has lost 13 sets by scores of 25-23, 26-24, 27-25 or 28-26 – including four times in the last three matches.
Sophomore
Allye Preziosi directed the attack with 18 assists and had three kills and seven digs. Freshman
Haley Mork, seventh in the PSAC in digs per set, had nine of the Warriors' 23 digs.
ESU will have a 10-day break from competition before hosting four matches over the final eight days of the season. The Warriors host West Chester on Friday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. and Kutztown on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 2 p.m., then welcome Shippensburg and Millersville to Koehler Fieldhouse the following weekend.
