LOCK HAVEN – Junior Kimberly Lawson won the 100 fly in 1:00.56 to pace East Stroudsburg University at its second meet of the season, the Lock Haven Quad, on Friday and Saturday in central Pennsylvania.

Lawson swam a PSAC qualifying time in the 100 fly and was also fourth in the 200 back (2:16.43) in the meet which also included California, Lock Haven and Kutztown.

Sophomore Allison Schafer was fourth in the 200 free (2:04.21), fifth in the 200 fly (2:20.16) and the 100 back (1:04.86) and sixth in the 500 free (5:33.82) as part of a schedule that included five individual events.

Other Warriors who had top-six finishes were freshman Karoline Vavra in the 200 breast (5th, 2:42.42), junior Sami Vavra in the 100 breast (6th, 1:13.10) and sophomore Andrea Tremper in the 100 free (6th, 56.76).

Two relays finished third, the 400 free relay of Karoline Vavra, freshman Danielle Davis, Tremper and Lawson (3:46.91) and the 200 medley relay of Sami Vavra, Karoline Vavra, Lawson and Tremper in 1:55.35.

ESU continues its early season schedule with its first home event of the season, hosting Kutztown and Misericordia in a tri-meet next Saturday at 1 p.m. at Koehler Fieldhouse.
