EAST STROUDSBURG – Junior Kimberly Lawson won the 100 fly and sophomore Allison Schafer won the 500 free to lead East Stroudsburg University in its swimming tri-meet with Kutztown and Misericordia on Sunday afternoon at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Lawson swam a time of 1:00.59 in the 100 fly, was second in the 200 IM (2:16.39) and was third in the 100 back (1:01.99) while also swimming on the third-place 200 medley relay.

Schafer took the 500 free in 5:27.06 and had two second-place finishes, the 200 fly (2:19.66) and 200 free (2:01.85). Junior Sami Vavra was second in the 100 breast (1:10.69) and third in the 200 back, sophomore Andrea Tremper was third in the 100 free and freshman Shelby Stalnaker placed third in the 1000 free.

Tremper anchored the 200 free relay to a second-place finish in 1:42.49 in the final event of the day, along with freshmen Karoline Vavra, Danielle Davis and Mara Palazzari.

Kutztown was the overall winner, with 140-122 margins over Misericordia and ESU. Misericordia topped the Warriors, 156-106.

The Warriors are back at Koehler Fieldhouse next Saturday for their final home action of the fall semester, hosting Lock Haven in a dual at 1 p.m.
