KUTZTOWN – Junior Alycia Jones broke 100 both days with rounds of 99 and 98 to lead East Stroudsburg University at the Kutztown Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at the Berkleigh Golf Course.

Freshman Kayla Grossi was two shots back at 199 (96-103), junior Regan Zimmerman shot 204 and freshman Malene Frost had a 215 on the par-73, 5,800-yard course in Berks County.

Mindy Glatfelter of Kutztown was the medalist with a 153 (79-74) for a one-stroke win over teammate Chelsea Corbo. The Kutztown “gold” team had a two-day total of 627 to win by 61 shots over West Chester. McDaniel was third (697), followed by Kutztown “maroon” (719), Franklin & Marshall (789) and ESU (815). Millersville only scored three golfers on Sunday and didn't factor into the team score.

Jones shot sub-100 rounds on both days for the first time in her career and joins Zimmerman as Warriors to go below 100 in both rounds of a tournament this season. Zimmerman shot 99-99 at Clarion two weeks ago.

The Warriors will finish their fall season at the PSAC Championships next weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at the Hershey Country Club's East Course.
