MANSFIELD – Sophomore
Allison Schafer was a double-winner in the 100 fly and 200 free and was one of five East Stroudsburg University swimmers to win individual events in a 139-59 dual victory at Mansfield on Saturday.
Schafer posted times of 1:03.25 in the 100 fly and 2:04.54 in the 200 free, and led off for the 400 free relay as the Warriors won six of the eight individual events and all three relays.
Junior
Sami Vavra and freshman
Karoline Vavra went 1-2 in the 100 breast with times of 1:10.49 and 1:12.49, respectively.
Karoline Vavra won the 50 free in 25.60, freshman
Danielle Davis won the 100 free in 58.13 and freshman
Shelby Stalnaker won the 100 back in 1:06.86.
Davis and sophomore
Andrea Tremper both swam in the 200 and 400 free relays which won in 1:44.92 and 4:00.19.
Karoline Vavra and Davis also contributed in the 200 free relay and freshman Mara Palazarri joined Schafer, Davis and Tremper in the 400 free relay.
Stalnaker opened for the 200 medley relay, followed by
Karoline Vavra, Palazzari and
Sami Vavra, which posted a time of 1:58.45.
The Warriors will compete at the Kutztown Invitational next weekend, a two-day event which begins on Friday.
