MECHANICSBURG – East Stroudsburg University placed 10th in the 200 free relay and 11th in the 400 medley relay on the Warriors' first night of competition at the PSAC Swimming Championships at Cumberland Valley High School.

Sarah Roscioli finished the 200 free relay in 1:39.14, with Roscioli posting the Warriors' top split in 24.28 seconds.
In the 400 medley relay, sophomore
Sami Vavra, Roscioli, Lawson and Tremper touched in 4:06.42. Both the 200 free and 400 medley relays had season-best times.
Several Warriors also competed in the morning prelims. Roscioli had the team's best showing in the 50 free, tying for 23rd with her season-best time of 24.85 seconds. Lawson, Tremper, Robinson, senior

Freshman
Allison Schafer, the Warriors' school record holder in the 500 free, was just over two seconds off her record pace with a time of 5:18.65 and placed 33rd in the prelims. Vavra was 38th in the 200 IM in 2:18.90.
The Warriors will be back in the pool on Saturday with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. and finals, including the 200 medley relay and 800 free relay, beginning at 6 p.m. The championships conclude on Sunday.
