MECHANICSBURG – The 400 free relay team finished 11th and East Stroudsburg University placed 12th overall as the PSAC Swimming Championships came to a close on Sunday at Cumberland Valley High School.
Three Warriors swam sub-55 second splits in the relay to wrap up the championships as ESU turned in a time of 3:39.97. Freshman
Andrea Tremper led off in 54.58, followed by sophomore
Tara Robinson (56.02), sophomore
Kimberly Lawson (54.86) and senior
Sarah Roscioli (54.51).
Roscioli closes her career with school records in the 50 (31.81), 100 (1:07.48) and 200 breast (2:30.19) and set the record in the 100 for the final time on Saturday. She also swam on the record-setting 200 medley relay on Saturday and was a member of record-setting 400 free and 400 medley relays at last year's PSAC Championships.
Senior
Amy Rowland also finished her career at ESU which included spots on two school record relays on Saturday in the 200 medley and 800 free. She competed individually in the 200 back and 50 and 100 free over the weekend.
ESU swimmers set a total of four school records during the 2010-11 season. Freshman
Allison Schafer set a new standard in the 500 free, along with Roscioli's record in the 100 breast and the two relay teams at the PSAC Championships.
The Warriors had a 5-4 dual record and are 51-27 in duals in the last 10 years under 17th-year head coach
