BELMONT, N.C. – Seniors Michelle Mangiaruga and Molly O'Hara and sophomore Ali Green had a hand in 12 of East Stroudsburg University's 15 goals as the Warriors closed their two-game trip to North Carolina with a 15-11 victory at Belmont Abbey on Friday afternoon.

Mangiaruga had one goal and career-high four assists, O'Hara had four goals and an assist and Green added two goals and three assists to help the Warriors (2-2) rebound from a 14-13 loss at Pfeiffer on Wednesday.

O'Hara had five goals and an assist and Mangiaruga had three goals and three assists against Pfeiffer and continued to carry the Warriors' offense on Friday. O'Hara, last year's PSAC East Player of the Year, has 13 goals and three assists and Mangiaruga has seven goals and eight assists through the first four games.

Green stepped up with one of the top performances of her career and senior Jamie Wesztergom and junior Laura Riegel scored two goals each. Junior Maure Perrymond, sophomore Sarah Ginn and freshmen Danielle Marceca and Nicole Miller also added goals for the Warriors.

Belmont Abbey scored the game's first goal, but Green answered and O'Hara took a pass from Mangiaruga to start a 5-0 run as the Warriors took control. ESU led 8-5 at halftime as Mangiaruga netted the final goal of the first half, and O'Hara went on a three-goal run in a six-minute stretch in the second half to help the Warriors stay in front.

Laura Dowd and Elyse Mohn both scored three goals to lead Belmont Abbey (1-4), which held a 23-21 advantage in shots. ESU converted four of its six free position shots while the Crusaders were just two of five.

Sophomore Katie Zollo and junior Amanda Simms each played a half in goal and made four saves for ESU. Tory Morgan went the distance in goal for Belmont Abbey.

O'Hara's nine goals and 11 points over the last two games move her into a tie for fourth in school history with 135 career goals and into seventh with 164 career points.

Mangiaruga became the 11th ESU lacrosse player to reach 150 career points, ranking 10th with 152 points on 109 goals and 43 assists. O'Hara had 66 points and Mangiaruga had 57 a year ago.

Green's five points are the second-most of her career behind a three goal, three assist game at Bloomsburg in the PSAC quarterfinals last season. She had 13 goals and nine assists as a freshman and has four goals and three assists to far this year.

The Warriors open PSAC East play on Tuesday when they host defending PSAC and NCAA Division II runner-up West Chester at 4 p.m. at Whitenight Field.
