SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Brittany Brigandi scored five goals and Kelly Condon and Rebekah Elmer scored three goals each to lead No. 6 Le Moyne to a 16-9 win over East Stroudsburg University in non-conference women's lacrosse on Friday afternoon.

Jamie Wesztergom scored two goals apiece to lead ESU (1-1), which opened its season with a 10-7 win at Georgian Court on Wednesday.
Le Moyne, which was playing its season opener, is ranked No. 6 in the first IWLCA poll of the season in its first year in Division II after previously competing in Division I. The Dolphins were ranked No. 2 in the Northeast-10 Conference preseason poll.

Le Moyne broke the game open with five goals in a span of just over three minutes midway through the first period and led 11-4 at halftime. The two schools were even on the scoreboard in the second half, 5-5.

ESU will be back in action next week with two games in North Carolina, playing at Pfeiffer on Wednesday at 11 a.m. and Belmont-Abbey on Friday at 4 p.m.
