WEST CHESTER – East Stroudsburg University pulled within 8-6 on goals by seniors Michelle Mangiaruga and Molly O'Hara early in the second half, but two-time defending PSAC champion Lock Haven pulled away for a 15-7 win in the semifinals on Friday afternoon at West Chester.

Senior Jamie Wesztergom scored three goals for the second straight game, Mangiaruga had two goals, O'Hara had a goal and assist and senior Christine Bradley also found the net for the Warriors, who finish the season with a 10-9 record which includes the first PSAC Tournament win in 25 years with a 16-8 upset of Gannon in the quarterfinals.

Allison Berger had six goals and three assists to lead No. 4-ranked Lock Haven (15-2), the tournament's second seed, which advances to play top-seeded West Chester in the finals for the sixth straight season. West Chester moved into the championship game with a 10-7 win over Mercyhurst in Friday's first semifinal.

Lock Haven scored the first four goals of the game and led throughout, but the Warriors recovered from the rough start with goals by Bradley (from O'Hara) and Wesztergom (from freshman Nicole Miller) to make it 4-2 with 11:01 left in the first half. The Bald Eagles scored two more quick goals, but ESU got two of the final three goals of the half, from Mangiaruga and Wesztergom, to get within 7-4 at intermission.

Kayleigh Johnson opened the second half scoring for Lock Haven before the Warriors narrowed the deficit to 8-6 on an unassisted goal by Mangiaruga and a free position goal by O'Hara. Lock Haven rattled off the next six goals, however, to take a 14-6 lead before Wesztergom scored the Warriors' final goal to break a 20-minute scoreless stretch with 4:14 remaining.
