Michelle Mangiaruga had a hand in half of East Stroudsburg University's goals, compiling a career-high eight points on five goals and three assists, and led a 12-5 run in the second half as the Warriors earned a 16-9 win at Millersville in PSAC lacrosse on Wednesday.

Jamie Wesztergom had two goals and four draw controls for ESU (6-5, 4-3), which exploded offensively after facing a 4-2 deficit late in the first half.
Mangiaruga, whose twin sister Morgan plays for the Marauders (4-6, 2-5) and also scored in the game, will finish her career with 14 goals and four assists in three games at Millersville. She scored five goals in an identical 16-9 win at Millersville last season and had four goals and an assist, including the game-winning goal with 34 seconds left, in a 16-15 win in 2009. She did not play in a 12-2 loss at Millersville in 2008 due to injury, missing the final 11 games of her freshman year, but has produced 24 hat tricks in 50 games in her career to date.
In addition to her fifth career five-goal game, Mangiaruga's eight points are the most by a Warrior since Renee Maniscalco's nine points on seven goals and two assists in a 13-9 win at Shippensburg in 2008. The two-time All-PSAC East selection moved into sixth in school history with 176 points on 126 goals and 50 assists.
Millersville took a 4-2 lead with 12 minutes left in the first half and still maintained the two-goal lead with four minutes remaining before sophomore
Ali Green and O'Hara scored to even the ledger at 4-4 at intermission.
Mangiaruga had four goals and two assists and O'Hara scored three goals in the second half, leading a 5-0 charge in the first nine minutes of the period as the Warriors seized control. O'Hara scored two goals and Mangiaruga had a goal and an assist in the surge, and Mangiaruga added two more goals – her third and fourth of the game – in just over a minute to put ESU ahead 11-5 with 16:21 left.
The Warriors scored five more goals to close the game, including Mangiaruga's final tally with 2:45 remaining, to cap a 14-goal effort in just over 30 minutes of action for their sixth straight win over Millersville since 2008.
ESU hosts Shippensburg on Saturday as the Warriors try to close in on their third PSAC playoff spot in the last four seasons. Shippensburg posted an 8-6 (OT) upset of Bloomsburg on Wednesday.

* O'Hara has 32 goals and 8 assists this season and joins Megan Macauley (1997-00) as Warriors with four straight 40-point seasons. She had 66 points last year, 42 in 2009 and 40 in 2008.
* Last year's PSAC East Player of the Year, O'Hara ranks 2nd at ESU with 154 career goals, 5th with 188 points and produced her 32nd hat trick in 64 games.
* Mangiaruga has 39 points on 24 goals and 15 assists. She had 57 points as a junior, 59 as a sophomore and 21 (in seven games) as a freshman.
