ESU dropped its first game after three straight wins to open the season.

Debo’s Hat Trick Leads Edinboro Past ESU Women’s Soccer, 3-0

EAST STROUDSBURG – Freshman Elizabeth Debo scored her first three career goals in a four-minute stretch late in the second half to give Edinboro a 3-0 win over East Stroudsburg University in PSAC women's soccer on Saturday afternoon at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

Debo scored goals in the 77th, 78th and 81st minutes to stun the Warriors (3-1, 1-1), who suffered their first loss of the season after winning their first three games. ESU won its PSAC opener over Clarion, 2-0, on Friday.

Edinboro remains undefeated at 4-0 (2-0 PSAC) and held a 16-8 advantage in shots. The Fighting Scots beat Bloomsburg, 3-1, on Friday at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

ESU sophomore Nicki Keiser made seven saves, tying her career-high, in her second start of the season. Meghan Kelly had two saves for Edinboro.

The Warriors host defending PSAC champion West Chester as part of a doubleheader at Eiler-Martin Stadium on Wednesday.
