EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University won eight of the nine individual events and both relays, including two victories each from juniors
Kimberly Lawson and
Sami Vavra and freshman
Karoline Vavra, to record a 121-82 dual win over Ramapo on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse.
The Warriors competed for the third time in eight days and turned in solid performances across the board. Sophomore
Allison Schafer was just over a second off the school record in the 1000 free in a time of 11:14.24 and was second in the 100 fly, and freshman
Melissa Smith won the 500 free in 5:47.07 to join the double winners.
Lawson won the 200 IM (2:17.86) and 100 fly (1:03.00),
Sami Vavra won the 50 free (26.19) and 100 breast (1:10.03) and
Karoline Vavra won the 100 free (54.81) and 200 free (2:02.74).
Sophomore
Andrea Tremper was part of both winning relay teams. The 200 medley relay of Lawson,
Sami Vavra,
Karoline Vavra and Tremper posted a time of 1:56.56 and the 200 free relay of Tremper, Schafer, freshman
Mara Palazzari and freshman
Danielle Davis clocked in at 1:47.07.
Tremper was also second in the 50 free and sophomore
Lauren Kammerer was second in the 500 free. Third-place finishes came from Davis in the 50 free and 100 free, Palazzari in the 200 free and freshman
Shelby Stalnaker in the 100 back and 1000 free.
ESU is away from action until next Saturday with a dual at Bloomsburg.
