EAST STROUDSBURG – Dana Wieller scored 23 points, Lauren Ellis had 16 points and eight rebounds and Bloomsburg shot 51.1 percent from the field and 9-for-18 from the three-point line to post a 76-64 win over East Stroudsburg University in PSAC East women's basketball on Wednesday at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Fayola Moise had 13 points and eight rebounds and redshirt senior forward 
Brittany McClain tied her season-high with 11 points off the bench for ESU, which cut an 18-point halftime deficit to 10 with seven minutes left but couldn't get any closer in its upset bid of the division's preseason favorite.
Moise had 11 points and seven rebounds to lead the comeback charge in the second half after being saddled with three early fouls in the first period. Veres had eight points in the second half, including two of her four three-pointers, but Bloomsburg answered every ESU surge down the stretch.
A 16-2 run midway through the first half gave Bloomsburg (15-4, 9-4) its breathing room for a 45-27 halftime lead. The Warriors opened the second period with a 7-1 run, pulling within 46-34 on a three-pointer by Veres, and made it 48-37 on one of three three-pointers by McClain.
Bloomsburg came back with a 9-2 run before ESU (6-11, 3-10) scored the next eight points – a jumper by Moise, a three-pointer by senior guard 
Barb Borst, another bucket by Moise and one-of-two from the line by senior guard 
Cyara Woodridge – to pull within 57-47 at the seven-minute mark.
Once again the Huskies responded, scoring eight straight points with three-pointers from Wieller and Catherine Noack, to reestablish their 18-point lead. A three by redshirt freshman guard and two free throws by Moise got the Warriors within 12 with 3:00 to play, but the deficit remained in double figures late in the game as Bloomsburg went 7-for-9 at the foul line in the last 1:08.
Veres scored her 17 points by going 5-for-10 from the field, 4-for-8 from long distance and 3-for-3 at the foul line, and has scored 39 points in the Warriors' last two home games. She also tied her season-highs with five assists and three steals.
Moise was 5-for-8 from the field and 3-for-6 at the line for her 13 points and pulled down at least eight rebounds for the seventh time this season. Freshman forward 
Jessica Martin had eight points, five rebounds and three blocks and freshman guard 
Ryann Fiascki added six points and three assists.
Bloomsburg got 67 of its 76 points from its starters despite a scoreless night from point guard Alyssa Flanagan. Wieller, the PSAC leader in made three-pointers, added three more to her season total and was 7-for-15 from the field. Ellis was 6-for-7, including a three, and Noack (15 points) and Kayla Oxenrider (13 points) were also in double figures.
The Warriors are back at home on Saturday with a match-up against PSAC East leader West Chester (14-3, 10-3), which stayed one game ahead of Bloomsburg with an 84-62 win at Cheyney.
GAME NOTES
* Martin's three blocks give her 40 on the season, extending her ESU freshman record. She is currently 5th in single-season blocked shots, and is two blocks away from entering the career top 10.
* Martin entered the game ranked 3rd in the PSAC with 2.3 blocks per game. She has 2+ blocks in 14 of ESU's 17 games this season.
