SHIPPENSBURG - Senior outside hitter Kaitlin Behrens continued her strong season with 14 kills and hit .205 in East Stroudsburg University's 3-0 loss at Shippensburg in PSAC East volleyball on Friday night at Heiges Fieldhouse.

Freshman libero Maddie Hutchison had 13 digs, senior outside hitter Katie O'Neill had 10 and junior Allye Preziosi and sophomore Annabelle Charlton both had 10 assists for ESU (7-12, 4-7).

Behrens had at least 10 kills for the fifth straight match and 11th time this season, giving her 195 for the year in 16 matches. She played just a few points in the first match of the season and is averaging 3.61 kills per set.

Returning PSAC East Player of the Year Jill Edwards had nine kills and Erin Flick and Taylor Gottshall both had seven kills for Shippensburg (17-7, 7-3), which won by scores of 25-19, 25-21 and 25-13.

The Warriors are at Millersville for a 1 p.m. start on Saturday.
