LOCK HAVEN – Senior Kimberly Lawson was second in the 100 fly and 100 back, and added third-place finishes in the 200 free and 200 fly, to help East Stroudsburg University finish second of four schools at the Lock Haven Quad Meet on Friday and Saturday in north-central Pennsylvania.

Lawson turned in times of 1:00.82 in the 100 fly and 1:02.65 in the 100 back, and 2:02.62 in the 200 free and 2:17.43 in the 200 fly. She also swam on the third-place 200 and 400 medley relay teams.

Senior Sami Vavra was second in the 100 breast (1:09.94) and third in the 200 breast (2:36.78) while also contributing to both medley relays.

Sophomore Karoline Vavra was in the top four in two individual events, placing third in the 100 free (55.48) and fourth in the 50 free (25.72), and contributed to four top-three relays.

She led off for the 200 and 400 free relays which both finished second, and was joined on both relays by sophomore Mara Palazzari, sophomore Danielle Davis and junior Andrea Tremper.

Freshman Sophie Coy also had a top-three showing, going third in the 200 IM in 2:21.34. She was also fifth in the 100 breast and swam on both medley relays along with Lawson, Sami Vavra and Karoline Vavra.

The Warriors are back in action next weekend at Kutztown in a tri-meet with Misericordia.
