EAST STROUDSBURG – Senior outside hitter
Kaitlin Behrens had 20 kills for the third time in four matches, but East Stroudsburg University took a 25-20, 25-18, 25-23 setback to West Chester in PSAC East women's volleyball on Thursday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.
The Warriors held their annual “Pretty in Pink” match, which featured a message from Honi Gruenberg, a 14-year survivor of breast cancer, from the PA Breast Cancer Coaltion.
Behrens, second in the PSAC in kills per set, raised her season average to 4.00 with 272 kills in just 20 matches. She had 54 of ESU's 113 attacks, the sixth time this year she has had 50 or more and second time in a three-set match.
Behrens had 20+ kills for the fifth time this season, including 21 in a three-setter at Millersville on October 13 and a career-high 27 in a five-set match vs. Kutztown last Saturday.

Maddie Hutchison had 12 digs, sophomore
Annabelle Charlton had four kills, 14 assists and 12 digs and junior
Allye Preziosi had 12 assists and four digs for ESU (7-16, 4-11). Senior outside hitter
Katie O'Neill added five kills and seven digs.
Lexie Kegerise had 10 kills and just two attack errors for West Chester, which hit .286 and committed just 12 errors in the match. Cara Reese had eight kills on 13 attacks and added five blocks and Mandy Flynn had 19 assists and 11 digs to lead the Golden Rams (15-14, 5-9) in both categories.
ESU is away from action this weekend and returns to play with two matches next weekend, hosting Millersville on Friday at 7 p.m. and Shippensburg on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Koehler Fieldhouse.
