EAST STROUDSBURG – Senior midfielder Cree Julian and junior back Michelle Gogolen scored goals in the first 10 minutes and East Stroudsburg University posted its sixth shutout of the year as it enters the PSAC Women's Soccer Tournament, blanking Bloomsburg 2-0 on Senior Night at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

Julian scored her fifth goal of the season and ninth of her career in the fifth minute and Gogolen scored her second of the year in the 10th minute on a corner kick taken by senior midfielder Marissa Spitler to provide the scoring for the Warriors (10-4-4, 8-3-3), who posted their fourth 10-win season in six years under head coach Rob Berkowitz.

Junior goalkeeper Brittain Wagner had three saves, including stopping a penalty kick in the 37th minute, to secure her fifth shutout of the season and ESU's sixth overall.

ESU will be the No. 6 seed in next week's PSAC Tournament, the Warriors' first appearance since the current seniors were freshmen in 2009. Their quarterfinal host will be determined on Sunday as Gannon, currently fifth with 28 points, is at rival Mercyhurst at 1 p.m.

The quarterfinals are currently scheduled for Tuesday.  A conference call to determine the final schedule will be held Sunday with this week's forecasted inclement weather.
