LOCK HAVEN – Senior midfielder Cree Julian scored her fourth goal of the year in the 11th minute, and junior goalkeeper Brittain Wagner made a season-high eight saves as East Stroudsburg University tied Lock Haven, 1-1, in PSAC women's soccer on Wednesday afternoon at Hubert Jack Stadium.

ESU (5-2-3, 4-1-2), ranked No. 6 in this week's NSCAA Atlantic Region poll, hit the midway point of the PSAC schedule going into Saturday's match-up with two-time conference semifinalist Slippery Rock at 6 p.m. at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

Julian scored the game's first goal 10:49 into the first half, and Katie Eichman answered for Lock Haven (5-3-2, 2-3-2) 10 minutes later.

There was no scoring for the remaining 90 minutes, as Wagner had five saves in the first half, another in the second and two more in the first overtime. Dana Wozniak made five saves for Lock Haven, two in the first half and three in the second half.

Lock Haven held an 18-12 advantage in shots, including 3-2 in overtime.

ESU, looking for its first PSAC Tournament appearance since 2009, has 14 points through the first half of the conference schedule. The Warriors still have to face defending champion California, undefeated West Chester and Edinboro, currently third in the standings, over the next three weeks.
