Kaitlin Behrens had 16 kills and junior
Allye Preziosi had 23 assists as East Stroudsburg University finished the 2012 women's volleyball season with a 3-0 loss at Kutztown on Friday night.
Behrens had double-figures in kills for the 17th time this season, and went over 15 for the 10th time, in her final match for the Warriors. She ranked second in the PSAC in kills per set and finishes the year with 3.91 kills per set, fifth-most in school history. She had 317 kills in 81 sets over 24 matches.
Freshman libero
Maddie Hutchison had 14 digs, finishing the season with 424 overall and 4.46 digs per set, both second-most by a freshman at ESU. She ranks 10th overall in digs per set.
Sophomore
Annabelle Charlton, who had four triple-doubles this season, had eight kills, 13 assists and 11 digs. She was second on the team with 209 kills, 325 assists and 279 digs this season.
Senior outside hitter
Katie O'Neill added four kills and eight digs and junior middle blocker
Elizabeth Madden had four kills and two blocks.
Chelsea Braga led Kutztown with 14 kills and 12 digs and Kim Gomber had 19 assists. KU (14-18, 5-13) won by scores of 25-18, 25-13 and 25-17.
ESU finishes at 7-20 (4-15), three most wins than the team posted last season. The Warriors opened the year, 7-6, which included wins over Mercyhurst and Edinboro on September 21-22 at Koehler Fieldhouse.
