PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia University scored all six of its points in overtime from the free throw line, but it was enough to push the Rams past East Stroudsburg University, 56-53, in non-conference women's basketball on Saturday afternoon.
Senior forward
Fayola Moise had 10 points and 14 rebounds for her second career double-double for ESU (2-5), which led for the final 35 minutes of regulation until Philadelphia U tied it at 50-50 with a free throw with 1:05 left.
Philadelphia U (6-4) was 0-for-3 and missed two free throws in the final minute of regulation and ESU had two shots to win in the last five seconds before going to overtime. In the extra session, Philadelphia was 0-for-6 from the field but 6-for-10 at the foul line, going ahead 54-53 on a free throw by Kristen Blye with 1:06 left and sealing it with a pair from Monica Schaker with two seconds left.

Michelle Boggs had six points and six rebounds for ESU. Sophomore forward
Jessica Martin had six points, three rebounds and three blocks but fouled out in 16 minutes of action.
Samantha Morris had 15 points and five rebounds, Tori Arnao had 12 points and 14 rebounds and Najah Jacobs added 11 points for Philadelphia U, which shot just 25.0 percent from the field (16-for-64) but was 17-for-30 at the line. ESU shot 31.0 percent (22-for-71) and 5-for-9 at the foul line.
The Warriors led 27-23 at halftime and built a nine-point lead (34-25), their largest of the game, on back-to-back baskets by Martin with 17 minutes left in the second half. The advantage was 50-44 after a bucket by Boggs with four minutes remaining, but Philadelphia U scored the final six points of regulation to force overtime.
ESU returns to PSAC action on Tuesday and Wednesday, hosting Lock Haven and Clarion on consecutive nights at 5:30 p.m. at Koehler Fieldhouse. The Warriors will hold a toy drive for Dream Come True for children who are seriously, chronically or terminally ill in the Lehigh Valley.
