Braden Turner (157) and redshirt senior
Ed Ebewo (197) also won by decision for ESU, which rebounded from a one-point setback (22-21) at Delaware Valley on Friday night.
The outcome was decided based on the tiebreaking criteria is being utilized for dual meets this year. The first two – greater number of victories (tied 5-5) and combined total of falls and technical falls (tied 1-1) – were exhausted, with ESU winning on the third criteria – total match points. Hluschak, ranked third in Super Region 1, recorded his second tech fall of the weekend, fourth of the season and 12th of his career in improving to 27-6 overall and 15-2 in duals. AIC came back with a win by decision at 165 in the only match-up of the day between two wrestlers in the Super Region 1 rankings. Ronnie Tetreault, ranked No. 4, posted a 3-1, sudden victory decision over redshirt senior
Thad Frick, who fell to 20-7 on the year.

Joe Blaes, but the tiebreaking criteria favored ESU thanks in large part to its two major decisions.
