BLOOMSBURG – Dana Wieller scored 24 of her 28 points in the first half and added seven assists and Bloomsburg held off an East Stroudsburg University run in the second half to claim the PSAC East regular season title with a 78-63 win over the Warriors on Wednesday night at Nelson Field House.
Jessica Martin, a seven-time PSAC East Freshman of the Week, had 14 points, seven rebounds and two blocks to lead four ESU (10-15, 6-14 PSAC) players in double figures. Martin has 71 blocks this season, one away from tying the PSAC record for a freshman set by Shippensburg's Ashley Totedo in 1995-96.

Brittany McClain had 10 points and five rebounds off the bench for the Warriors, who climbed back from a 19-point deficit late in the first half to pull within 63-56 on a bucket by Moise with just over seven minutes left.
Bloomsburg (23-4, 17-4) led 50-34 at halftime but shot just 35.7 percent (10-28) in the second half as the Warriors got back in the game. Wieller (24 first-half points) and Kelsey Gallagher (10) scored 29 of Bloomsburg's first 33 points in the game and the Huskies were 8-for-13 from the three-point line in the first 20 minutes before finishing 10-for-23.
ESU chipped away at the lead in the second half and cut a 15-point lead to 10 after baskets by its two point guards, redshirt freshman guard
Steph Cabald and Fiascki, to get within 57-47 with 12 minutes left.
After a three-pointer by Bloomsburg's Catherine Noack, ESU had another 5-0 run with a three-pointer by McClain and layup by junior guard
Barb Borst (seven points) to close the margin to nine (61-52) with just over nine minutes remaining.
Moise pulled ESU within seven on an assist from Martin at the seven-minute mark, the closest the Warriors would get in the second half. Gallagher answered back with a jumper for Bloomsburg, and the Huskies went on a 7-0 run after two free throws by Martin made it 66-58 with five minutes to go.
Wieller (28 points), Gallagher (15) and backup forward Danielle Derr (10) gave Bloomsburg three players in double figures. Kayla Oxenrider had seven points and five assists, Lauren Ellis had seven points and six rebounds and Alyssa Flanagan added six points and nine boards.
ESU finishes the 2011-12 season looking for its 11th win on Senior Day on Saturday against Cheyney. The Warriors will recognize their three seniors – McClain,

GAME NOTES
* Fiascki scored in double figures for the 8th time in the last 11 games and had her 3rd 14-point game of the season. She was 4-for-4 at the foul line and improved her free throw percentage to 87.4 (76-87), which leads the PSAC.
* ESU's single-season free throw percentage record is 87.3 (55-63) set by Lorraine Boyd in 1958-59. The PSAC record for a freshman is 85.8 (115-134) by Jen German (Bloomsburg) in 1993-94.
* Martin broke a tie for 5th on ESU's career shot blocking list. She has 71 blocks in 25 career games and can tie or break the PSAC freshman record of 72 on Saturday.
* Martin broke the freshman rebounding record last Saturday at West Chester. She has 190 with one game remaining.
