Ritchie led 8-0 after the first period, getting a takedown 10 seconds in and two sets of near fall points, for a 15-5 major decision over Joe Bartolini.

Esposito went down to the wire with James Valcius, earning an escape just before the final buzzer for a 7-6 decision. Valcius had tied the bout at 6-6 with a takedown with two seconds left as the two wrestlers went out of bounds.

Centenary, ranked No. 22 in Division III, won the other six bouts with two pins, a major decision and three decisions.

One of the closest contested bouts of the night featured Centenary's Chris Burdge (22-1), a returning All-American ranked No. 4 in Division III, against ESU redshirt sophomore Braden Turner at 157 pounds. Burdge had an escape in the second period and Turner escaped in the third period before Burdge had a takedown with two seconds left for a 3-1 decision. Turner falls to 19-11 on the year.
