HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Senior Amanda Kaufman improved to 3-0 at No. 1 singles and 3-0 at No. 1 doubles with freshman Allison Bean on East Stroudsburg University's spring break trip, but the Warriors dropped a pair of non-conference tennis matches to Fairmont State (5-4) and Ohio Wesleyan (7-2) on Sunday and Monday.

Against Fairmont State, Bean won at No. 2 singles and sophomore Allison Schafer won at No. 5 singles for the Warriors' other two points. Schafer, a school record holder in swimming, won her first collegiate match.

Kaufman won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 singles and teamed with Bean for an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles.

On Monday against Ohio Wesleyan, Kaufman had a 6-4, 6-3 win in singles and 8-6 win with Bean in doubles. She opened the trip with two victories in a dual at Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday and is 5-4 in both singles and doubles during the 2011-12 season.

ESU is away from competition on Tuesday and plays Millsaps on Wednesday and Kentucky Wesleyan on Thursday to complete the five-match trip to the Carolinas.
