EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University held a 23-3 advantage in shots in the first half and eight players found the net as the Warriors posted a 12-5 win over Kutztown in PSAC lacrosse on Saturday at Whitenight Field.

Grace Gunkel had three goals for her first career hat trick, junior attack
Sarah Ginn had three goals and two assists and six other players scored one goal each for ESU (2-4, 1-1), which ended a three-game losing streak and evened its PSAC record after falling at defending runner-up West Chester on Tuesday.
Gunkel scored ESU's first two goals in the first two minutes as part of a 7-1 surge in the first half. Ginn also had two goals in the first half as the Warriors opened a 5-0 lead in the first 10 minutes.

Sarah Studdiford both had a goal and an assist for ESU. Senior midfielders

Katie Zollo started in goal and made five saves, and senior
Amanda Simms came on to make three saves in the last 17 minutes.
Alexis Williams had 16 saves for Kutztown (3-3, 0-2), which fell to Bloomsburg in its PSAC opener this week. ESU held a 38-16 advantage in shots and had 11 fewer turnovers in the game, 25 to 14.
ESU takes on Philadelphia University in a non-conference game on Sunday at 1 p.m., the last of four games for the Warriors this week.
