ATHENS, W.V. – Sophomore forward
Lauren Buchanan-Dwyer scored the game-tying goal with just 1:28 remaining in regulation as East Stroudsburg University rallied to secure a 1-1 (2OT) tie against Concord in the Warriors' 2012 opener on Saturday afternoon in West Virginia.
ESU outshot the hosts 20-4, including 17-3 in regulation, but didn't draw even until Buchanan-Dwyer scored her second career goal late in the contest. The Warriors had 10 shots and seven corner kicks in the second half to dominate most of the action.

Junior goalkeeper
Brittain Wagner had one save for ESU in her ninth career start. She was one of three keepers to see time last year, posting a 5-4-1 record in 12 games, including eight starts. She started all 18 games at left back as a freshman.
ESU takes on Tusculum (Tenn.) on Sunday at 12 p.m. in its second game of this weekend's tournament. The Pioneers, 10-7-2 last season and among the preseason favorites in the South Atlantic Conference, had a 2-1 (OT) win over Kutztown on Saturday.
