EAST STROUDSBURG – Senior Kimberly Lawson won three events to lead East Stroudsburg University to a 142-116 dual win over Millersville on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Lawson swam times of 1:02.54 in the 100 back, 2:16.16 in the 200 back and 2:17.66 in the 200 IM as the Warriors won eight of the 12 individual events and both relays.

Senior Sami Vavra (100 breast – 1:08.78; 200 breast – 2:35.08) and junior Allison Schafer (200 fly – 2:20.76; 1000 free – 11:13.35) were also double-winners for the Warriors. Schafer also placed second in the 500 free in 5:32.49.

Sophomore Danielle Davis added an eighth individual win in the 50 free (25.26), leading a 1-2-3 sweep of the event. Junior Andrea Tremper was second in 25.57 and sophomore Karoline Vavra third in 25.66. Vavra also placed second in the 200 free (1:59.77) and third in the 100 free (55.60).

Sophomore Shelby Stalnaker was second in the 200 back (2:18.79) and third in the 100 back (1:04.30). Sophomore Mara Palazzari went second in the 100 fly (1:03.57) and third in the 200 fly (2:28.59), senior Tami Bereznay was third in the 1000 free (12:26.77) and senior Kathleen Bolin was third in the 200 back (2:21.37).

The Warriors posted times of 1:53.19 to win the 200 medley relay and 1:42.12 to win the 200 free relay. Sami Vavra and Tremper contributed on both relays, along with Lawson and freshman Sophie Coy in the 200 medley, and Karoline Vavra and Palazzari in the 200 free.

ESU will compete in its final action before the PSAC Championships (February 14-17) next Saturday at the ESU Invitational, which begins at 12 p.m. at Koehler Fieldhouse.
