EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University won eight individual events, led by two each from senior Allison Schafer and juniors Shelby Stalnaker and Karoline Vavra, and both relays for a 160-102 dual win over Lock Haven on Saturday afternoon at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Schafer won the 1000 free (10:59.70) and 200 fly (2:18.33), Stalnaker won the 200 back (2:17.08) and 200 IM (2:20.38), and Vavra captured the 50 free (25.12) and 100 free (54.98) for the Warriors. Other individual winners were junior Jamie Kane in the 200 breast (2:32.56) and junior Mara Palazzari in the 100 fly (1:02.57).

Six swimmers contributed to the relay wins with Vavra and Palazzari contributing to both. Stalnaker, Kane, Palazzari and Vavra won the 200 medley relay in 1:52.47, and Vavra, sophomore Cyndi Kline, junior Danielle Davis and Palazzari won the 200 free relay in 1:43.12.

Stalnaker was also second in the 100 back and Schafer was second in the 500 free, along with their pair of individual victories. Kane was second in the 100 breast and Palazzari was third in the 50 free.

Other top scoring performances came from Kline (2nd in 1000 free, 3rd in 500 free), freshman Jennifer Lauer (2nd in 200 breast, 3rd in 200 IM), sophomore Sophie Coy (2nd in 200 IM) and freshman Kandis Venn (3rd in 100 back).

The Warriors are at Misericordia next weekend for a tri-meet with Misericordia and Kutztown.
