Sophomore forward Ally Roth scored her PSAC-leading 18th goal of the season to pull the Warriors (7-8, 4-3) within 3-1 with 9:21 remaining. She moved into 10th at ESU with 69 career points, a tie for sixth on ESU's season goals list and fifth on the season points list with 41.

Lauren Gerhart, Champayne Hess and Olivia Hershey scored for Millersville (14-1, 6-1) after a scoreless first half. Gerhart's goal came 11:20 into the half, followed by Hess 2:04 later and Hershey with just under 19 minutes left in regulation.

Lauren Sotzin made six saves for Millersville and sophomore goalkeeper Alexis Charles had five saves for ESU. The Marauders had a 10-6 edge in penalty corners and both teams had 10 shots.

ESU recognized its three seniors before the game in midfielders Kaitlin Blum and Brielle Kessel and back Rebecca Smith.

Kessel assisted on Roth's goal, her 10th career assist, and made her 50th career start. A second team All-PSAC East selection last year, Kessel has seven career goals and three goals and two assists this season.

Blum made her first start of the year and has two goals this year, against Stonehill and West Chester. Smith is a two-year starter at back and made her 30th career start. Blum (president) and Smith (vice president) are both officers in ESU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and are also members of the Warriors' softball team.

The Warriors will finish the regular season with three road games as they look for their second PSAC Tournament appearance since 2003. They are currently fifth in the conference standings, with the top six teams qualifying, and travel to IUP (5-9, 3-4) on Saturday, Shippensburg (15-0, 8-0) next Tuesday and Kutztown (5-8, 2-5) the following Saturday.
