CHEYNEY - Junior outside hitter Abby Welch had a team-high nine kills as East Stroudsburg University notched a 3-0 win at Cheyney in PSAC East women's volleyball on Friday night.

Junior outside hitter Shannon Hillsinger had six kills and senior Allye Preziosi added five kills, seven digs and three aces as the Warriors improved to 6-20 (2-13).

Redshirt sophomore Haley Mork had 21 digs and four aces to lead ESU's defense, freshman Abby Koval had seven assists and five digs and sophomore Maddie Hutchison had seven digs.

ESU won by set scores of 25-10, 25-18 and 25-12. Lindsay Asby led Cheyney (5-21, 0-16) with six kills and Akia Harris had 16 digs.

The Warriors travel to West Chester (12-12, 4-10) for a 2 p.m. match on Saturday.
